Q.
What might you do with fraudulent (or apparently fraudulent) ad
requests?
A.
Fraudulent (or apparently fraudulent) ad requests may be turned over to
law enforcement, federal/local agency(ies), and/or we may contact other authorities and take
any applicable legal and other steps we deem necessary or helpful.
Remember that fraudulent ad requests wrongly use/abuse the resources of
others (and may therefore be considered a form of theft). Those who
submit such ad requests may be prohibited from future advertising on
this site, and we may take also take steps to prohibit / restrict use of
this site by certain persons (or organizations / groups / etc.) - e.g.
blocking IP numbers, rejecting posts in other sections, etc. We may also
publish / disseminate any information we have obtained regarding
individuals / groups / organizations, etc. as we deem appropriate /
helpful
and work with law enforcement authorities for prosecution. Should we
restrict your use of this site, you have no recourse (even if you are
innocent). All actions taken are at our sole option and we do not need
to demonstrate or prove your guilt or provide any cause whatsoever for
our actions. We do not need to notify you of our actions or acknowledge
your correspondence in any way. If we do not take any action [or if we
take what may be deemed "inadequate" action(s)], we cannot be
held responsible/liable, even if it can be shown that certain action(s)
could have/would have reduced, eliminated or otherwise mitigated damages
of any party. We are not required to act on or acknowledge any
information / complaint / warning / request / notice, etc. regarding any
individual / organization / group / institution / school / religious
order / charity / business / provider / employer / website / product /
service / ad / advertiser / publication / message / information /

| Question
Summary
Q.
What are some reasons an advertiser may be banned from future
advertising on this site?
A.
An advertiser may be banned from future advertising on this site if they
attempt to (or actually) circumvent or violate our policies, if they
commit fraud (or are suspected of doing so), if they request
advertisement(s) even though are notoriously anti-Catholic, if they
request advertisement(s) even though they notoriously violate Church
morals, if they request advertisement(s) even though they notoriously
attempt to change Church teachings, if they violate our code of conduct,
if they have been problematic advertisers in the past, if they abuse or
attempt to abuse commercial sections, if they submit a number of ads
which fail to meet our criteria, if they submit inappropriate/excessive
correspondence to us, etc. The decision to ban an advertiser is ours
alone and we do not guarantee to ban any particular advertiser or what
step(s) we may take if we do ban an advertiser. If we do ban an
advertiser, we cannot guarantee that no ads will ever appear on our
site(s) (or other materials) or that any such ban will be
permanent/effective.

decision.

| Question
Summary
Q.
What recourse is available to advertisers if they are wrongly banned
from future advertising?
A.
Advertisers who are wrongly banned have no recourse whatsoever. Their
sole remedy is to prove to us that our decision was in error and to
cooperate with us in any investigation (even at their expense). We may
permit them to resubmit ad requests(s) affected by our original decision
(and this may be at their own expense, or we may choose - at our sole
option - to waive applicable processing fees). Note that by requesting
any ads whatsoever, you agree to all these conditions.

Summary
Q.
What should I do if I suspect that I have been banned from future
advertising?
A.
If nothing has occurred that would cause you to be banned, you may
choose to assume that you have not been banned from future advertising.
If something has occurred that would cause you to be banned, you may
choose to assume that you have been banned from future advertising. Of
course, if you have been banned from future advertising, you should not
request any future ads on this site. Note that you alone are responsible
for your actions/assumptions. Please do not contact us to answer
questions regarding your individual status. Any such correspondence may
be subject to auto rejection. Furthermore, should we ever agree to

Summary
Q.
Even if an advertiser / ad / product / service / organization / group /
institution / school / religious order / charity / business / provider /
employer / individual / website / publication / message / opinion /
activity / event / offer / offerer / request / requestor / seller /
buyer / manufacturer / distributor / author / publisher / submitter /
item / etc. is known to be problematic, might information about it still
remain on the site?
A.
Unfortunately, yes. As indicated above, it is not possible for us to
limit this site to worthy advertisers / products / services / etc. Not
only is it impossible for us to evaluate advertisers / products /
services / etc., the law may not allow us to limit our public
advertising to certain advertisers / products / services / etc. Even
"worthy advertisers" (and worthy products and services) are
not perfect and any organization is subject to change over time. And
since our main focus is the Catholic content of this site, not
evaluating advertisers or products / services / etc., we must limit
ourselves to being satisfied that the actual content of ads themselves
is not offensive (which is our goal, but not a guarantee). Remember that
we do not endorse / recommend any product / service / ad / advertiser /
organization / group / institution / school / religious order / charity
/ business / provider / employer / individual / website / publication /
message / information / instruction / assistance / opinion / point of
view / activity / event / offer / offerer / request / requestor / seller
/ buyer / manufacturer / distributor / author / publisher / submitter /
item / etc., even if information regarding the product / service / ad /
advertiser / organization / group / institution / school / religious
order / charity / business / provider / employer / individual / website
/ publication / message / information / instruction / assistance /
opinion / point of view / activity / event / offer / offerer / request /
requestor / seller / buyer / manufacturer / distributor / author /
publisher / submitter / item / etc. appears on our site (or other
materials of ours). We cannot guarantee accuracy of any information,
Catholicity of any item / individual / organization / etc., or make any
other guarantee(s) regarding any item(s) appearing in commercial
sections. Users are advised to research products / services /
advertisers / organizations / groups / institutions / schools /
religious orders / charities / businesses / providers / employers /
individuals / websites / publications / messages / activities / events /
offers / offerers / requests / requestors / sellers / buyers /
manufacturers / distributors / authors / publishers / submitters / items
/ etc. independently before participation and to use great caution when
participating in any transaction / activity (including offering /
requesting / buying / selling / sending / receiving / providing /
contacts / correspondence / payments / shipping / transfers / events /
etc.). We are not a party to others' transactions / activities, even if
information about such transactions / activities is contained on our
site (or other materials of ours), and we do not mediate disputes. We
have not screened / evaluated products / services / ads / advertisers /
organizations / groups / institutions / schools / religious orders /
charities / businesses / providers / employers / individuals / websites
/ publications / messages / information / instructions / assistance /
opinions / points of view / activities / events / offers / offerers /
requests / requestors / sellers / buyers / manufacturers / distributors
/ authors / publishers / submitters / items / etc. and are not
responsible for doing so. Inclusion of products / services / ads /
advertisers / organizations / groups / institutions / schools /
religious orders / charities / businesses / providers / employers /
individuals / websites / publications / messages / information /
instructions / opinions / activities / events / offers / offerers /
requests / requestors / sellers / buyers / manufacturers / distributors
/ authors / publishers / submitters / items / etc. does not imply our
endorsement. Participation in any transactions / activities is at your
own risk. Users are cautioned that certain products / services /
organizations / groups / providers / individuals / websites /
publications / information / instructions / opinions / activities /
events / items / etc. may be harmful to one's faith, person, etc.
Proceed at your own risk.

An item in the Sales & Specials section isn't really a sale and

A.
Advertisers are free to request ads in the Sales & Specials if they
are applicable to the indicated categories. Note that various categories
in this section do not require an actual "sale" or
"special" (for example the "Everyday Low Prices"
category does not require sale pricing or special pricing). If an
advertiser has advertised incorrectly in this section, you may consider
complaining to the advertiser (as warranted). You should not, however,
contact advertisers to complain about trivial matters.

Q.
What happens if I submit a Classified Ad, but the requested sub-category
is out of range for the category I selected?
A.
You should be careful to specify correct categories/sub-categories for
your ads! Note that if you do not supply a proper category /
sub-category, we may change your request - or we may process but not
schedule your ad. If so, you may be charged for processing even though
your ad does not appear on this site. Note that categories and
sub-categories must fall within the same numeric range (e.g. the first
two numbers must be the same). For example, if you want your ad to
appear under the sub-category "2561750 - Catholic Jewelry, you
should choose the category 2560000 rather than the out-of-range category
1130000 (Apparel & Jewelry).

Summary
Q.
What is a default category/sub-category?
A.
Default categories/sub-categories may be assigned if requested
categories / sub-categories are inappropriate / out of range / not
available / etc., or if a category / sub-category is not specified. For
example, if you selected the category "1130000 - APPAREL &
JEWELRY" in your ad content submission, your requested sub-category
should be within the range for this category (e.g. start with the same
first two numbers - namely "11#####"). If you instead indicate
an out of range
sub-category (for example "2561750 - Catholic Jewelry"), we may choose the
default sub-category "1139999 - Other Apparel & Jewelry" for the category you
selected [or we may change the category to 2560000 to match the
sub-category you selected or we may use the main default
category/subcategory (e.g. 9000000 - Miscellaneous / 9009999 -
Miscellaneous (Other)]. Remember that categories and sub-categories
must fall within the same numeric range (e.g. the first two numbers must
be the same). You should be careful to specify correct categories /
sub-categories for your ads! Note that if you do not supply a
proper category / sub-category, we may change your request - or we may
process but not schedule your ad. If so, you may be charged for
processing even though your ad does not appear on this site.

Summary
Q.
What is a "standard free ad" (or "free ad offer ad")
vs. an ad placed at no charge?
A.

that even though both may be placed at no charge, there is a difference
between the two (e.g. they may have different eligibility requirements,
different steps in processing, different permissions for ad enhancements
and renewals, different availability/categories, etc.)

Summary
Q.
Your commercial sections terms seem somewhat harsh - are they not?
A.
While our commercial sections terms may seem somewhat harsh, we have
designed them (1) with the hope of discouraging problem advertisers, and
(2) to encourage other users to advertise appropriately, and (3) to
preserve our resources / consume as little of our time as possible. We
certainly do not want to 'scare off' good advertisers - only encourage
them to be careful, responsible, accurate, and require them to assume
various risks. This way, our prices can be lower and we can better focus
on the Catholic content of this site. We hope that those who correctly
submit appropriate ads will be very happy with their experience
advertising on this site.
