"I'm tired of hearing all about the bad priests. The media over does it. How about all the good priests. Does anyone say anything about them in the media? I haven't seen much lately."

Thank you for your comments. I agree that the media can sometimes seem to obsess on the 'relatively small' number of bad priests (who have committed horrible, heinous, abominable sins to be sure), but they pretty much ignore the many good & holy priests who do so much good in the world. As I used to participate in putting together the news coverage on this site, I clearly know what you are referring to. Although some Catholic media outlets have undertaken to speak of the good priests, generally the mass media seems more interested in discrediting the Church. I guess this should be as no surprise, given that the Church is Christ's body (Rom. 12:4-5,1 Cor. 12:27, Eph. 1:22-23, etc.) and is THE voice for morality in this ailing world.

Please note that we do have a section on our site where visitors can post information about good priests (using only an initial to refer to the priest - e.g. "Fr. A"). If you know of some good priests, we encourage you to post about them on our site so that others can read about them. You can do so at the Priests & Vocations section here.
