"Are religious videos & programs (educational or otherwise) on TV or online good to watch?"

It would depend on the materials themselves. For example: Are they fully Catholic? Who puts them out, recommends or promotes them? Are those involved in their production faithful? Conservatives? Liberals? Dissenters? What its their emphasis? Do they treat of Sacraments, morals & other matters as they have always been taught or do they promote social justice / false ecumenism / modernism? Do they contain errors? Are all participants modestly dressed? What have been their fruits? Etc.

In our opinion, it is best to stick with traditional, time-tested & worthy programs (educational or otherwise). Many Catholics today are very poorly educated in the fundamentals of the Catholic faith, despite a wide assortment of modern educational programs & materials, and they may be further confused or misled by unsuitable materials. And of course, you should avoid ALL items that are religious in nature but not Catholic. Even those that claim to be 'Christian' may promote various errors and false ways of thinking. It can be dangerous for Catholics to use religious materials of any kind that are not Catholic. [Note: For the importance of being Catholic, see here.]
