No. As the Council of
Trent states...
"If anyone
denies that the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity, of our Lord
Jesus Christ and, therefore, the whole Christ is truly, really, and
substantially contained in the sacrament of the most holy Eucharist, but says
that Christ is present in the Sacrament only as a sign or figure, or by his
power: let him be anathema." [Note: The above may also be translated as: "If
any one denieth, that, in the sacrament of the most holy Eucharist, are
contained truly, really, and substantially, the body and blood together with the
soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and consequently the whole Christ;
but saith that He is only therein as in a sign, or in figure, or virtue; let him
be anathema."]
