No, the many issues in Faustina's writings cannot be blamed on 'faulty translations'. As stated in the publication 'What's Up With Faustina's Divine Mercy Devotion (2)? Another Approach For Getting To The Truth'...

"The excuse of 'faulty translations' seems to be a favorite among devotees to explain away issues in Faustina's writings. However, all quotes [supplied] are from a translation provided by Faustina's followers that specifically states 'This publication is the critical edition, and [is] thus reliable.' The publication lists at least a dozen persons involved in the translation, including an Archbishop & priests who translated, reviewed, re-reviewed & proofed it. We are assured in the publication that they have made 'every effort to be truly faithful to [the original in Polish], and to retain the [various] shades of meaning implied in the theological and spiritual terms [Faustina] used'. Again, given the above - including the assurance that 'This publication is the critical edition, and [is] thus reliable' - a poor translation is therefore not a valid excuse."
