Father G. Adams

God granted him, after many failures, a vocation to the priesthood. Father is currently in late 80's and at a nursing home not far from his church. God bless Father G.

Grateful to Mrs. B.

I believe Mrs. B. helped keep my childhood parish on an orthodox course. I think she was kind and very strong in faith. Thanks, Mrs. B.!

God bless large families!

I am moved almost to tears by large families who follow God's laws. God please grant us many, many more of these dear families! Everywhere these faithful Catholics go they are living examples of our precious faith. They are a silent rebuke to those who teach error both inside and outside of the Church. Their example has been a great blessing and an inspiration to me. God bless large Catholic families! And, please send us many more of them!

Several younger Catholics are inspirational to me

I have been inspired by a number of younger Catholics who seem unstained by this world. Particularly inspiring is a young couple who were married in the traditional rite and have already begun their large family. I love to see them. I admit a bit of a holy envy, but not sinful because I am joyful for them. I just wish I'd "had it together" at their age. Their family is beautiful to see. They give me hope for future generations.

my friend's virtues

My friend is gifted with virtues and when I spend time around her I learn how to be a better person. I find her to be a "most influential" Catholic.

Parents who admit mistake

I met a couple I admire because they raised their children to be religiously indifferent but then realized the mistake they made. They don't defend the mistake at all. Instead they try to stop others from making the same mistake. Their story gives a powerful example to other parents so they don't do the same thing. Wouldn't the world be a better place if we all admitted our mstakes for others to learn from?

Friend Won't Let Obstacles Keep Him From Mass

Despite being unable to drive, a friend will either take a taxi or bicycle as need be to attend Mass. Given that the nearest parish is miles away, this is no small ride. When he does arrive, he is so focused on God and what the true purpose of Mass is that it's amazing to find that he was raised in a non-Catholic home. He's seems to be one of those rare few people you can talk with nowadays and end up better than you were before. He is exceedingly humble and prayerful, and won't let anything keep him from his Lord.

New parent won't leave hospital without infant being baptized

The parents of a large Catholic family we know won't leave the hospital with their newborn infant until it has been baptized. In an age when other parents expose their children to so many risks - even putting off their baptism for years - it is heartwarming to see this faithful couple protect the eternal interests of their offspring.

Touched by Kindness of Elderly Man

One day while waiting at a side door of the church for a previous Mass to let out, I was behind a frail elderly man. We were both kind in a somewhat uncomfortable position in the uneven ground, but when the chance to enter the church came, he hesitated not for a second to invite me (a female) in ahead of him. Although I certainly felt guilty going in ahead of a frail elderly man, I could not turn down his kind gesture. When I reflected upon how many such acts of kindness this man had probably performed in his life, it was hard not to swell with tears. And to realize that his old age and discomfort didn't prevent him from continuing, I cannot help but smile at the reward I imagine will probably await this dear man after death.

Pregnant Mother Suffers For Child

A dear Catholic woman in our local area has a number of children and is known to offer up all her labor pains for the soul of her child. It is precious to see a mother recognizing the most important thing in her child's life - his soul - even during her most painful and trying hours - and doing what she can for their eternal salvation. With a faithful mother like that, it seems likely that her children would already have a really good chance at salvation. May God grant them salvation.
